The 'Beat the Cold' initiative by JCI Dhaka Pioneer has been launched

JCI Dhaka Pioneer's 'Beat the Cold' project has been auspiciously inaugurated by installing two geysers in the madrasa named 'Madrasatu Madinatil Ulum' of Basila, Arshinagar. This ongoing project will be completed by February 2024. Due to global warming and climate change for the past few years, the winter season has taken an adverse shape in various South Asian countries including Bangladesh. The underprivileged people without basic facilities are living a helpless life in this disastrous climate. While one part of Dhaka are sleeping peacefully in their homes, on the other hand, many helpless people have no winter clothes to save them from this extreme cold and they are spending the wintry night under the open sky. JCI Dhaka Pioneer has not forgotten to empathize with the less fortunate this winter and has stood by Dhaka's underprivileged people in various ways through their 'Beat the Cold' project in the most compassionate way possible. JCI Bangladesh will take a step towards ensuring SDG Goal 3 'Good Health and Wellness' through this project.

The main objective of this project is to help needy people to the best of their ability to alleviate the sufferings of the poor during this winter season and to strengthen mutual ties by providing various civic services. JCI Dhaka Pioneer is committed to supporting the underprivileged by installing geysers in madrassas, providing winter clothes and blankets to the homeless living on the streets, and assisting the underprivileged.

The project will be implemented under the initiative of Local President 2024 K M Filckul Ahmed. Shariful Islam (VP), Tawhidul Islam Shawon (VP), Hasan Zaman (Treasurer), and Apple Mahmud (Director) are also in charge of executing this project. This ongoing project is being implemented with the help of Utsob Resort, Co-Property Limited, Tech Solutions, Ukulele Center Bangladesh, and Pop Candy.
