Sonargaon University Gears Up for Enhanced Education Quality with OBE Implementation

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Sonargaon University (SU) organized a special seminar session on “OBE Implementation and BAC, BAETE Accreditation”.

The program was arranged at the Sonargaon University Auditorium on Saturday (4 November).

Prof. Shamim Ara Hassan, Vice Chancellor (Acting), Sonargaon University; Brig.Gen. (Retd) Prof. Habibur Rahman Kamal, ndc, psc, Dean, Faculty of Science & Engineering, SU; Md. Mostofa Hossain, Director-IQAC, Head-Dept. of ME, SU, Prof. Bulbul Ahamed, Additional Director-IQAC, Head-Dept. of CSE delivered their speeches during the program.

During the seminar sessions- Keynote Speaker Faruq Hosen, OBE Software Specialist discussed on ‘Curriculum Design, OBE Software, Background of Washington Accord and BAC, BAETE Accreditation Requirements’.

The objective of this seminar is to implement OBE software from January, Spring 2024 semester at the Sonargaon University (SU). Among others, all the deans, heads ,Coordinators and faculties of other departments of SU joined the seminar.

The keynote speaker and OBE Specialist Faruq Hosen answer different questions of the attendees at the end of the seminars.
